ENERGY AND ELECTRICITY AT POHJANMAAN TEOLLISUUS 2022

In 2021, the main theme of Pohjanmaan Teollisuus was sustainable development, an important and continually current topic which will strongly define business strategies in the future. In 2022, we are taking sustainability even further by including energy and electricity in the event program. That is why it makes perfect sense to arrange Pohjanmaan Teollisuus in Vaasa in 2022, a city known for its energy industry. The region is home to EnergyVaasa, the largest energy technology cluster in the Nordic countries, as well as many high technology businesses, universities, and research facilities. Together these form an excellent basis for establishing new businesses, one example being the successful investments in the Giga-Vaasa project in order to establish battery production in the region.

Energy consumption and generation play a key role in the sustainable development of all companies. More energy is being produced and consumed than ever before, and the increased demand brings challenges for both the environment and the businesses. At Pohjanmaan Teollisuus 2022, we will delve into sustainable development from the energy point-of-view through seminars, the exhibition fields and more.
